SafeShield may escalate concerns where necessary to help protect individuals from serious harm.

Responding To Concerns


Safeguarding concerns should be handled promptly, respectfully and proportionately.


Responses may include gathering relevant information, assessing risk, seeking advice or referring concerns to appropriate organisations or authorities.


SafeShield does not replace statutory safeguarding agencies, law enforcement or emergency services.

Confidentiality


Information relating to safeguarding concerns should be handled carefully and shared only where necessary.


Absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed where disclosure is required to protect individuals from harm or to comply with legal obligations.

Online Safety Expectations
